When you create an account or place an order, we use the information you provide to manage your account and prepare your order.

Information we use

Account sign-in is handled by Firebase Authentication. Depending on how you sign in, this may include your email address, name, profile image or a provider identifier. We store customer profile details, order contact information, an optional email address for that order, menu selections, notes, pickup time, order status and payment status in our ordering database. Recipient details entered for one order do not automatically change your account profile.

Why we use it

We use this information to authenticate you, calculate and fulfill orders, show your order history, contact you about an order and support restaurant operations. Owner and authorized staff can see information needed to process orders. The owner can also review customer order history and export order contact information for restaurant administration. Customers can see only their own orders. An order email or phone number is not treated as permission to send promotions; promotional messaging is not active.

Services and storage

The website runs on Cloudflare Workers with order data in Cloudflare D1. Cloudflare Email Routing forwards messages sent to orders@bonjoureatery.com to the restaurant owner. If you provide an email address for an order, Resend processes the order receipt and confirmation emails; the restaurant owner also receives a new-order alert. Firebase Authentication handles sign-in. Google sign-in is available when enabled. Google Maps is embedded on our Contact page; opening it may send information to Google under its own policies. We do not store payment card numbers because online card payment is not active.

Your choices

You can order without providing an email address. You can update profile information in your account. For access, correction or deletion requests, call 778-956-2871. We may need to retain order records where required for legitimate business or legal purposes.
